Dr. Ken Rabac:  

Born and raised by autoworker parents in Detroit, Ken is a highly independent and unique scholar, educator, and counselor. He was a child prodigy who “grew up in Journalism from the age of 14, progressing from reporter to editor by the age of 15. He won 4 James E. Scripps Awards for distinguished journalism as a news anchor and street reporter with CBS/WWJ/Detroit. He has maintained parallel careers in counseling and education, while continuing in journalism and broadcasting. He is the host of a weekly program on Pure Jazz Radio out of New York City and he is the 10 year bandleader of a popular Jazz ensemble in Orlando. For 10 years he was operations director and afternoon host of the University of Central Florida’s NPR station. He also taught internships, independent studies, and Communications classes at UCF. After completing ten years of classroom and clinic research, and over 30 years of teaching and counseling, Ken completed his Phd. in Counseling and Education. He matriculated at Latin American universities because the particular theories he researched originated there. (He has a previous doctorates in Clinical Addiction Psychology).
